The Patriot is the highest program level in AHG. These girls plan and carry out activities with Unit Leaders who function as “facilitators,” allowing girls to make decisions on a regular basis. As with lower levels, they too earn achievement badges, service stars, religious awards, and activity patches. Since the girls are older, they are required to demonstrate the highest level of skill in all areas. The level award for the Patriots is the Dolley Madison Award, but Patriot girls may go above and beyond to earn the highest honor of the American Heritage Girls: the Stars and Stripes Award. Patriots wear the official Patriot sash with a red polo & khaki skirt or slacks.

**  The Badges and Service Stars for American Heritage Girls are progressive in nature.  A Tenderheart will require a very basic skill level for their badge, while a an older Patriot will have a much higher skill level requirement to complete a Badge. **

***  Age requirements must be met by October 31st, of the program year in which the girl is registering.
